Where's Moxie?

Hey guys! A few of you have been asking where our beloved Moxie has gone -  don't worry, she's still here and looking sassy as ever! As you know, we've been working on getting the website up and running (which is no small or easy task) and with that comes prioritizing and delegating. We're just putting Moxie and the blog on hold for a bit so we Liz can focus full-time on the website project. If you're in town, you can still drive-by the window display's and see that Moxie's outfits still change every week (I'm changing her outfits after I write this today!)

Liz's Two Favs for Tuesday

With all of the beautiful things in the shop, it was hard to pick out a single favorite. Would it be the Angelina dress that makes me look six feet tall? Would it be the denim jacket I could wear with anything? It was a hard choice. It's easier for me to shop for others than for myself. Being close to gift giving season I decided to go with my favorite gift idea in Humanité.

 A gourmet salad garden in a tin. The perfect gift for gardening and food enthusiasts alike. A great present for those who have everything. It's only $22! Includes seeds for gourmet lettuce blend , chantenay carrots, deep purple bunching onions, mesclun greens mix and yellow pear tomatoes.

Remembering to always be grateful for everything given to me, I couldn't write a post about favorites without mentioning my husband. He is my favorite friend, favorite co-worker, favorite. . . . everything.

Friday Funday!

I'd like to thank Tom Brady for giving me back my eye-candy. Football can now be viewed in my presence and that makes my husband happy. Big win for the Smith house.

Gisele, please accept my bouquet of grilled cheese sandwiches as a thank you. Their really good. Trust. 

Disclaimer: Tom Brady could care less what I thought, only thing that could stop the hub from watching football would be the actual Gisele, and girl, if you got it, flaunt it.

Redefining Thirsty Thursday

I love this. While doing research on Heart for Africa for the new Thursday blog post, Liz pulled together the information below to help give you an example of the real-life crisis that's happening as you read. Statistically, it's real. But when you see it with your own eyes, it's the truth.

Had to share.....

 While we leave taps running to brush our teeth, there is a heartbreaking need for clean water in the world. More than 1 billion people worldwide do not have access to safe water. The health and economic impacts are staggering. In Africa alone, people spend roughly 40 billion hours every year just walking for water. The need is apparent when you realize how many non-profit groups have made clean, safe water their mission. Humanité donates 5% of profits to Heart For Africa  a non-profit who's mission includes, but is not limited to, helping bring clean water to those in need (an additional 5% is donated to the local New Century Scholars program) Check out this link for more information on a water project going on right now.
